Seller's commission
The seller's commission is the sum paid by the vendor (consignor) on a work sold by an auction house for the vendor (consignor). The seller's commission usually depends on the hammer price (see Conditions of Sale). In German the terms used are "Abgeld", "Entgelt" or "Einlieferungsprovision".
