Biography
Marie Louis Pierre Vidal was born on April 7, 1849, in Tours, France. He studied under Cardart. Beginning in 1876, he worked as a clerk at the "Cabinet des Stampes" in Paris. He was also a drawer and engraver. He remained artistically active until 1906.
