James Brown
Biography
James Brown was born in Los Angeles, California, in 1951. In 1972 Brown began to study at the Immaculate Heart College, Hollywood. From 1973 to 1975 Brown studied at the Ecole Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris and finished his studies in Hollywood in the same year. In 1979 the artist attended the Instituto Michelangelo in Florence. James Brown's works are closely in line with archaic signs of traditional American, African and Hawaiian art. The artist lives and works in New York, Paris and Oaxaca (Mexico).
