Enzo Cucchi
Biography
Enzo Cucchi was born in Morro d'Alba (Marche) in 1949. The artist opened his first single exhibition in Milan in 1977. The recurrent motifs like fish and elephants or skulls and embryonic figures give Cucchi's pictures the archaic strength against the progressing destruction of culture. After 1982 the artist expanded his works by creating plastics. Cucchi's work belongs to an expressionistic tradition.
