Donald Baechler
Biography
Donald Baechler was born in Hartfort, Connecticut, in 1956. In 1974 the artist began his biennial art studies at the Maryland Institute, College of Art in Baltimore. Then the artist went to New York City where he continued his studies at the Cooper Union until 1978. From 1978 to 1979 he continued studying at the University of Fine Arts in Frankfurt/ Main (Stadelschule). In 2004 the artist worked as a lecturer at the Summer Academy in Vienna. Today Donald Baechler lives and works in New York City.
