The sleek physicality of the "Frühling" (Spring) symbolizes a conception of physical forms that clearly follow a classic ideal. In its days of origin Fritz Klimsch did not oppose to the prevailing art doctrine, contradictory to the given aesthetic requirement. And yet, the artist attained an expression that goes far beyond common perception. Without putting particular emphasis on the ideal of the times, the "Frühling" represents a style that withstands changing fashions and perspectives.
