Original transfer drawing (blueprint) for the woodcutter who made the printing block for the woodcut after a drawing by Richter: one side of the sheet with pencil drawing, the other with scratches/printing traces. Reversed image of the original drawing and woodcut mounted.
The woodcut illustration of the same name was released in: Johann Karl August Musaeus, Volksmährchen der Deutschen.
