Von besonderem Interesse sind die auf Böhmen, Ungarn, Polen und die Türkei bezogenen Schreiben. - Erste 2 Bll. wasserrandig, sonst wenige Bll. geringfüg. fleckig; mit Marginalien und Zusätzen von alter Hand (vereinz. beschnitten); letztes Bl. mit kl. Fehlstelle, Vorsätze mit kl. Wurmspuren. Einbd. berieben und bestoßen. - Titel mit längerem latein. Eintrag, gerichtet an Stanislaus, Bischof von Olmütz, dat. 1522, mit Verweisen auf Breslau und die Ketzerei in Böhmen.The letters by the prominent humanist give plenty of political information about his era (of particular interest is the information about Bohemia, Hungary, Poland and Turkey). 16th cent. calf with rich floral blind tooling, front cover with gilt stamped title 'Epistole Enee silvii', gilt stamped ornamental border and coat of arms supralibros. - Waterstains to first 2 leaves, otherwise only few leaves with minor staining; marginalia and notes by an old hand (partly truncated), last leave with small defective spot, little worming to endpapers. Binding rubbed and bumped. - Title with longer entry in Latin, addressed to Stanislaus, Bishop of Olmütz, dated 1522, with references to Breslau and the heresy in Bohemia.
