With a panorama of Dar es Salaam at the beginning (20 : 53 cm, mounted on canvas and folding), followed by views of Dar es Salaam, Zanzibar, portrait of the sultan of Zanzibar, pile of ivory, market scene in Zanzibar, parade for the sultan, followed by views of Egypt with Cairo (complete view, mosque, streets, gardens, scenes with natives on the Nile, market scene, old town), pyramids, Sphinx, sugar cane trader, trader of copper and bronze vessels, depictions of local women, musicians; as well as views of Palestine with Jaffa, Jerusalem (in a panorama in three sections), Western Wall, Garden of Gethsemane, Bethlehem, Church of the Nativity; with several views of Naples and Pompeii at the end. - Most photographs with French captions in the negative and partly signed "Bonfils", with German inscriptions in pencil on the cardboard at the beginning. - Margins of cardboard browned and brittle, leading to marginal blemishes on 2-3 ll.
