Eitner VII, 381ff.). - Slightly foxed in places, 1 sheet of the first quire (title and pp 7 and 8) cleaned and restored. - Attached: Primavera, G. L., Il quinto libro di madrigali a cinque voci. With woodcut printer's device on the title and several woodcut initials. Venice, G. Scotto Erben 1578. Later boards. 4to. 14 ll. - RISM P 5454. - Not recorded by Adams and in the BM STC. - First edition. - With uncomely pastings in places of the margin and all over the title leaf and therefore strongly browned.
