Aus einer Auflage von 20 römisch numerierten Exemplaren. Charakteristische Farbchromatik des großen "ZERO"-Künstlers.
Erst seit 1990 setzt Heinz Mack seine "Farbchromatiken" in der Technik der Farbserigraphie um. Mit seinen leuchtkräftigen, nuancierten Farbverläufen läßt Heinz Mack allein die Farbe sprechen. In den Jahreszeiten sind drei der vier Blätter von starker Farbigkeit, während das vierte, der Winter sehr dunkel gehalten ist. Alle vier Blätter zeugen von großer Harmonie und Leuchtkraft. Gedruckt bei H. P. Haas in Leinfelden-Echterdingen und herausgegeben von der Galerie Löhrl, Mönchengladbach.
"Für diese neue - oder vielleicht besser: erweiterte - Qualität der vielfarbigen Graphik, sind nicht zuletzt die drucktechnischen Voraussetzungen von immenser Bedeutung. Mack fand sie bereits zu Beginn der 90er Jahre bei dem Stuttgarter Drucker Hans-Peter Haas. Es waren unter anderem die technischen Entwicklungen zum Siebdruck von Haas, die die Möglichkeiten bereiteten, Macks pigmentbetonte Pastelle, ihren samtenen Habitus, ihr leichtes Volumen ohne Verlust, dafür in höchster Qualität zu reproduzieren" (U. Mack, Druckgrafik u. Multiples 1991-2000, Bd. 3, S. 9).
- ZUSTAND: Insgesamt in guter Erhaltung. Sommer mit minimalem Griffknick im linken oberen Blattrand sowie rechts unten eine kleine Oberflächenläsur in der Darstellung. Frühling mit schwacher, kaum sichtbarer Kratzspur in der Darstellung (ca. 25 cm). 3 verso am Oberrand an 2 Stellen auf Karton montiert, 1 mit 2 Montierungsresten. - PROVENIENZ: Privatsammlung Süddeutschland.

On Vélin by BFK Rives (with watermark). Paper size 110 : 80 cm. - Overall in good condition. Sheet "Summer" with minimal handling crease in the upper left edge of the sheet and a small surface tear in the illustration at the bottom right. "Spring" with a faint, barely visible scratch mark in the image (approx. 25 cm). 3 mounted on cardboard in 2 places on the verso of the upper edge, 1 with 2 remains of mounting.

another 0.25 % of the hammer price over 500,000 euros.
The maximum total of the resale right fee is EUR 12,500.
The artist‘s resale right compensation is VAT-exempt.
