Clarenbach 663. With the monogram at the top of the plinth. One of at least 5 iron copies. 19 x 46 x 15 cm (7.4 x 18.1 x 5.9 in).
The catalog raisonné mentions five iron copies and two bronze copies.
• Despite its heaviness, the differentiated treatment of the surface has a wonderful lightness
• Another copy is in the Fritz and Maria Koenig Foundation at the Sculpture Museum in Landshut.
• Around 1970, Koenig created the globe-shaped bronze "The Sphere" between the towers of the World Trade Center in New York, which today is a famous 9/11 memorial.
