• Very rare unpublished lithograph-
• Apart from this trial proof, no other copy of this virtuoso print is known to exist.
• In the years after WWI, Beckmann was intensively occupied with print art and made fewer paintings.
PROVENANCE: Collection Reinhard Piper, Munich (with the collector stamp on the reverse [Lugt 5594]).
