Signed, dated and titled on the reverse. On brownish paper. 34.5 x 22 cm (13.5 x 8.6 in), size of sheet.

• From the series of the "Viertelstundenakte", in which Fritz Bleyl and the other "Brücke" members were intensively occupied with nude drawings.
• Only a few of these seminal drawings by the artist have survived until today.
• Fritz Bleyl was a "Brücke" founding member.
PROVENANCE: Gertrud Tannert (the artist's wife, until 1974).
Galerie Nierendorf, Berlin (in 1974 on consignment from the possession of the above).
Private collection Baden-Württemberg (until 1995: Ketterer Kunst).
Hermann Gerlinger Collection, Würzburg (acquired from the above in 1995, with the collector's stamp on the reverse, Lugt 6032).
