The voyage of the 'Reliance' began 11 January 1936 and ended 25 May. It went from New York via South America to Cape Town, India, China and Japan, onwards to California and through the Panama Canal and Cuba and back. Each magazine consists of one sheet and contains, besides excerpts from the ship's diary, the bord program, recommendations for tourists, information about countries and towns, political news, sports, rules on bord and a lot more. - A remarkable Zeitgeist document from the 30s.
