Zweite Ausgabe der von Rouilles illustrierten Taschenbibel, erschien erstmals in 1562. - Reich ausgestattete Lyoneser Bibel. Die meisten der tlw. ganzseit. Textholzschnitte aus der Hand von Pierre Eskrich (ca. 1515-90; vgl. Thieme/B. XI, 33). - Es fehlen die Bll. 113-114 aus dem Exodus. - Etw. gebräunt, wenige Bll. mit Tintenfraß (meist durch Unterstreichungen), 3 Bll. mit ergänztem Randausriß, 3 Bll. mit kl. hinterl. Randläsuren. Einbd. mit kl. Beschabungen, ob. Kap. ausgebessert.

Slightly browned, some leaves ink-eroded (mostly due to underlinings), 3 leaves with small backed tears, 3 leaves with rebacked marignal coutout. Binding scraped in places, head of spine repaired.
