The work offered in our auction is all in line with the stipulations of the Informel: It is the powerful gesture by means of which Giuseppe Santomaso puts the colors on top of one another in order to create a fascinating image world, in which "[..] inner and outer world are expressed in a way that illustrates the complexity of human conscience. This connection is balanced between personal experience and common sense. The image is created in a sort of spiritual 'interspace', that is also part of a meditation."
