Einriß, vereinz. mit Marginalien und Unterstreichungen von alter Hd., Vorsätze erneuert. \cf1 Einbd. mit kl. Beschabungen.

First edition. \i\cf3 The title metalcut border by Jacob Faber, after a drawing by Hans Holbein. The metalcut borders are also by Faber and were already used in earlier imprints. With partly colored woodcut title border, 3 woodcut text borders and fig. woodcut initials. \i\cf3 Contemp. blindstamped pigskin (spine renewed). - Lacking last leaf with publisher's imprint. - Slightly waterstained and partly foxed, title slightly soiled and with rebacked marginal defects, 1 leaf with unhandsomely backed tear, some contemporary underlinings and marginal notes, endpapers renewed. Binding scraped.
