• After spending time in the Maremma/Italy, he painted the series of the same name in 1985.
• Extremely colorful and striking example from this work group.
• Alongside Arnulf Rainer, Prachensky was a founding member of the Vienna artist group "Galerie nächst St. Stephan" in 1956.
• He taught at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, where he also headed painting master classes, from 1983 until his retirement in 2000.
• Prachensky is known as one of the most important Austrian avant-garde and Art Informel artists.
