What is characteristic of Dieter Roth's work is that the portable object, despite its conception as a multiple, has unique character, because the banana slice is subject to a natural process of decay, which, as so often the case in Roth's oeuvre, leads to individual molding figurations. Made and published by VICE-Versand, Remscheid, Wolfgang Feelisch. With original cardboard box. [KP].
