Second edition of the collected Latin verse Epistels of the chancellor of Catherine de Médicis, bound in a fine French morocco binding about 1700 with richly gilt spine, gilt fillets and gilt edges. With woodcut printer's device on title and fullpage woodcut portrait. - Slight foxing, first leaves with small wormtrace. Rear board with few wormholes, else well preserved copy. Armorial bookplate.
