EINBAND: Gesprenkelte Kalblederbände der Zeit mit rotem Rückenschild und reicher Rückenvergoldung. 40 : 25 cm. - ILLUSTRATION: Mit 17 meist gefalteten Kupfertafeln. - ZUSTAND: Einzelne Bände teils schwach gebräunt, der erste Band im Fußsteg etw. wasserrandig, sonst innen sauber. Einbände etw. beschabt und bestoßen, Gelenke leicht brüchig, bei 2 Einbänden die Deckel etw. verzogen.
LITERATUR: Graesse VI, 198.
First edition of the important work on the history of England. Mottled contemp. calf with red label and rich gilt spine. With 17 copper plates, most of them folding. - Single volumes with faint isolated browning, first volume with some water staining in lower margin, else clean inside. Bindings somewhat scraped and scuffed, joints slightly brittle, boards of two binding somewhat cocked.(R)
