Eines der Hauptwerke von G. de Ville-Harduin, hier in der frühen Lyoner Ausgabe von Guillaume Rouille. Exemplar mit dem zweiten Teil, der die Annalen von Nicetus Coniates enthält. Die Kupfer zeigen byzantinische Herrscher. "They are of considerable interest because they are supposed to be based on original costumes brought to Venise in 1560 by Marino Cavalli" (Navari).
