Basiert auf der Ausgabe von René Benoist (1564). - Vereinz. stockfleckig, 1 Bl. mit Einriß, Titel mit altem gelöschten Besitzvermerk. Einband beschabt, Kapitale mit kl. Läsuren. Insges. guterhaltenes Exemplar mit breiten Rändern (40,7 : 27 cm).
Finely printed Bible edition with beautiful printer's device on title, 17 woodcuts in text and numerous arabesque and figured woodcut initials. Contemp. calf on raised bands with gilt spine and gilt edges. - Here and there foxing, 1 leaf with tear, early crossed out ownership inscription to title. Binding rubbed, spine ends chipped. Else well preserved and broadmargined copy.
