Vierte, erstmals um das sechste Buch vermehrte Ausgabe (dieses mit eigenem Titelblatt). Die schönen Holzschnitte zeigen neben geometrischen Figuren u. Grundrissen auch die zum Festungsbau notwendigen Instrumente, Werkzeuge und Maschinen.
EINBAND: Zeitgenössischer flexiber Pergamentband. 35,5 : 24 cm. - ILLUSTRATION: Mit großer Holzschnitt-Titelvignette, gestochenem Porträt von W. Kilian und zahlreichen tlw. ganzseiten Textholzschnitten. - KOLLATION: 6 Bll., 303 (recte 299) S. - ZUSTAND: Titel etw. fleckig, gegen Ende mit kl. Wurmspur (Buchstabenverlust). Einbd. fleckig. Schönes, innen sauberes und breitrandiges Exemplar.

With 2 large woodcuts on titles (rep.), engr. portrait and numerous partly fullpage woodcuts illustrations. Contemp. limp vellum. - Title somewhat soiled, small wormtrace towards end (loss of letters), binding stained. Else fine copy, inside clean and with wide margins.(R)
