"On occasion of the cycle 'Adalbert Stifter - Richard Wagner' the artist created the two fictitious portraits of the two 'failed revolutionaries'" (translated quote from Lewin, p. 370). Cast by bei Venturi Arte, Bologna 1985. Released by Galerie Hilger, Vienna 1985. With two drill holes for mounting on a base on underside. [DB].
