Wingler/Welz 517. Signed. On of a few proof prints before the edition, with a watercolor added in lower margin. On wove paper by BFK Rives (without watermark) 62 x 50,5 cm (24,4 x 19,8 in). Sheet: 76 x 56 cm (29,9 x 22 in).
After the watercolor with the same title from 1944. From the set of 15 lithographs in colors, which were printed after watercolors by the artist. Initially planned as a portfolio edition, the prints were placed on the market as single leaves. Published by Marlborouh Graphics Ltd., London 1975. [KR].
Good overall impression. Hardly noticeably discolored. Occasional nonsignificant handling creases. Left margin hardly noticeably light stained. Lower right corner with minor trace of creasing.
