The work is registered in the Hermann Gerlinger Collection with the number SHG 883d. [AR].

• In 1912/13, Cuno Amiet conceived the motifs "Kunst" and "Wahrheit" for the loggia of the Kunsthaus Zürich.
• The board of directors decided in favor of a different work, the seven-part cycle "Jungbrunnen".
