• Expressive-reduced style.
• Heckel rendered his impression of nature in a nearly abstract structure of black lines.
• What makes this sheet so special is its reduction in terms of form and color as well as the interesting choice of perspective.
• The poised handling of the paper's tone and the balance between blank and filled sutface testify to Heckel's graphic mastery.

In good condition. Corners with tiny pinholes, presumably from the making. Margins slightly rubbed and with faint brownish spots and traces of moisture in upper and lower right.
