One of a total of 6 door wings, part of a chest of drawers. Andreas Jawlensky son of Alexej von Jawlensky, made numerous painted pieces of furniture. [KP].
Accompanied by correspondendce between Andreas Jawlensky and the deceased brother-in-kaw of the consignor from 1958, in which the artist confirms the authenticity of this artwork (in copy.
