PROVENANCE: Presumably collection of Dr. Walter H. Dammann, Flensburg (1883-1926, director of 'Kunst- und Gewerbemuseum' Flensburg and the artist's friend and brother-in-law, verso with stamp "Dr. Dammann").

Good overall impression. Slightly discolored and with brownish stains. Margins and corners slightly scuffed and with old smoothed creasemarks. Upper margin with a smaller and a larger split (up to 3.5 cm), both rebacked. [CE]
