Rudloff 432. Plinth with artist's signet as well as with number on verso and the stamp "Guss Barth Rinteln". From an edition of 10 copies. Height: 11.5 cm (4.5 in).
From an edition that was cast by the art foundry Barth, Rinteln after 1970, aside from the edition of 5 casts mentioned in Rudloff that was cast by the foundry Kirchner, Munich. In this work Marcks takes up the element of movement of the "Kleinen Säenden" from 1938 (cf. Rudloff 358). [JS].
