Danilowitz 175.6. Monogrammed, dated, Roman numbered, titled and inscribed "épreuve". From an edition of 12 Roman numbered copies aside from an edition of 125. On firm Schoellershammer cardboard. 49.8 x 49.9 cm (19.6 x 19.6 in). Cardboard: 61,5 x 61,5 cm (24,2 x 24,2 in).

• As of 1962 Albers attained his characteristic style: radiant modulations of the square.
• In his paintings and color silkscreens from the series "Homage to the Square", Albers analyzes the interaction on unmixed colors in three to four squared color fields.
In good condition. Cardboard minimally discolored and with small kins in margins. Minimal rubbings visible only in sided light.
