Hülsewig-Johnen/Peterlein 1189 and 1190. Gmelin Z 1169 and 1170. Lower right with hand-written bumbers "13/28" and "1978". On firm creme wove paper. 24.9 x 22.8 cm (9.8 x 8.9 in), size of sheet. [AM].

• Stenner develops these two nudes of fascinating elegance with dynamic, virtuoso strokes
• After his early death on the Polish eastern front at the age of only 23, Hermann Stenner left behind a small but important oeuvre of great artistic quality.
