Kandinsky hier im zweiten Zustand in den Farben Blau und Schwarz für die kartonierten Exemplare der Erstausgabe (Roethel 141/II). - Kopfschnitt und -steg etw. farbfleckig und mit Feuchtigkeitsspuren, einige Bll. dadurch leicht verklebt. Bindung tlw. gelockert. Ansonsten gutes breitrandiges Exemplar.
First edition of the famous expressionist publication. 4 plates colored by hand, 3 music plates and numerous illustrations. Original cloth with woodcut illustration by W. Kandinsky, printed in blue, red and black. - First leaves somewhat stained, inner hinges and binding partly going. Boards somewhat stained, front cover here and there rubbed, spine at the bottom with defective spot in cover.
