Inscribed in right margin. Signed and dated "1-21-2000" on verso. On smooth cardboard by Austria (with embossing stamp). 60 x 44 cm (23,6 x 17,3 in), the full sheet.
Elke Krystufek's self portrait, from which the artist looks at us with her large expressive eyes, is flanked by a text on the right side, supplying information on the artist's mood in form of a poem: "Keeping a memory, keeping track of the lipstick and the jewellry pattern of the sick blouse. One cannot be forced to remeber valuable things. We must be equipped with a selective memory for a reason. Forever was so tired that she forgot to turn on the music." [KP].
