Considerable collection of letters from the estate of the art historian Bernhard Degenhart (1907-1999), who was in close personal contact with many artists from the post-war era. Besides greeting cards for various occasions, the collection also comprises reports and some very realistic descriptions of almost all aspects of artistic creation, thus offering interesting insight in the art scene of the 60s and 70s. The collection is of particular relevance for the mostly signed prints and drawings, many of them printed separately on quality paper.
