Colas 1567. - Hiler 486. - Carteret IV, 217: "Luxueuse Publication". - Not in Lipperheide. - 1 of 1250 numb. copies (complete print run 1279) on "Papier de Hollande". - Next to the Gazette du bon ton the leading French fashion journal in the days of Art Nouveau and Art Déco. The beautiful and unusually decorative plates show various types of women's fashion for all kinds of occasions, various types of accessory (jewellery, hats and even China etc.) as well as man's and children fashion. - The journal was published between June 1912 until August 1914. Three issues were published every month. - At hand issues I-XXXIX, XLIV-L, LVII-LIX, LXI, LXIV, LXV, LXVII-LXXIII. - Despite the lacking issues, plates 1 to 184 (numbered throughout) are all at hand, except for numbers 135 and 136. Additionally, two further unnumbered plates (mentioned by Colas) are also included. - Plates 119, 120 and 127 in a slightly larger format and printed on wove paper (with small marginal creases). - With isolated tiny foxing, wrappers with marginal blemishes. - All in all fine copies with wrappers.
Not in Lipperheide. - 1 of 1250 numb. copies (complete print run 1279) of the leading French fashion journal in the days of Art Nouveau and Art Déco. The beautiful and unusually decorative plates show various types of women's fashion for all kinds of occasions and various types of accessory etc. Orig. wrappers. 62 issues with a total of 184 engraved fashion plates in pochoir colouring and 1 sample of a cloth pattern. - All in all fine copies with wrappers apart from isolated tiny foxing and marginal blemishes to wrappers.
