Beye/Baumeister 414. 45.7 x 35.8 cm (17.9 x 14 in), almost the full sheet.
Baumeister examined the one-armed handstand in several drawings and in one painting (Beye/Baumeister 425). This oil study offered here was made in the mid 1920s in preparation of the portfolio that was released by Gerd Hatje in 1947.

Good overall impression. Sheet firmly laid on panel. Margins consistently with small traces of glue and paper remains from a former mounting. There also with small color breakages. Upper right margin with a small closed split (ca. 1 cm). Tiny isolated soiled spots.
