Signed in lower left (India ink) and inscribed wit a personal dedication (pencil) and the work number "697". Verso (by a hand other than that of the artist?) inscribed "70/34" and "69". On firm paper. 70 x 50 cm (27.5 x 19.6 in) , size of sheet.
Schmidt-Rottluff, as well as Willy Robert Huth, Karl Hofer and Max Pechstein founded the "Berliner Neue Gruppe" in 1949. [EH].
