Signed, dated, titled and inscribed on the reverse of the right light element. 190 x 181 cm (74.8 x 71.2 in).

• Diffuse images in earthen colors are characteristic of Michael Biberstein's creation.
• In the present work the light, thinly painted element collides with teh deep black cloth and empasizes the delicacy of his painting even stronger.
• In 1992 teh artist participated in documenta IX in Kassel.
• His works repeatedly featured international group exhibitions, among them at the Haus der Kunst in Munich, the Museum van Hedendaagse Kunst in Gent, the Kunsthalle Krems or the Museu de Arte Moderna in São Paulo.
PROVENANCE: Galerie Tanit, Munich (with gallery labels on the reverse of both stretchers).
Private collection Southern Germany.
Light part in very good condition. Black part in good condition, with small isolated stains and rubbed spots in bottom area. The condition report was compiled in daylight with the help of an ultraviolet light and to the best of knowledge.
