• Late relief from the 1970s when Stazewski experimented with the combination of strictly geometrical fields and frames of subtle lines.
• In 1966 Stazewski participated in the Venice Biennial.
• In the 1970s and 1980s his works were part of significant group exhibitions of Polish artists, among others at the Museum of Modern Art in New York (1976), the Musée d'art Moderne (1977), the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris (1983) and at the London Royal Academy (1970/1984).
• Works by the Polish Constructivist are at, among others, the London Tate, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles, the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam and in the Daimler Art Collection.
PROVENANCE: Private collection Switzerland (acquired directly from the artist).
