• Since his participation in the documenta I (1955), Fritz Winter has been considered one of the leading representatives of German Informal Art and abstract post-war modernism.
• Winter has been exhibiting in the United States since the 1950s, and was represented in two exhibitions at, among other places, the Museum of Modern Art, New York

In good condition. Partially with fine craquelure. The condition report was compiled in daylight with the help of a UV light source and to the best of our knowledge and belief.
