Early 20th cent. morocco with gilt spine and gilt fillets on covers. - Partly minor foxing or slight waterstaining, title somewhat soiled and with backed small wormtraces, some early annotations. Spine with minor rubbing, upper spine end restored. - Attached the second Aldine edition from 1535, with 2 woodcut printer's devices, contemp. vellum, here and there foxing or browning, towards end waterstaining, title with nearly invisible stamp. - Attached further a copy of part 1 (of 2) of the first Aldine edition, later vellum, some foxing and waterstaining, old annotations.
