• Chillida is one of the most important sculptors of the 20th century.
• Apart from his sculptures, Chillida also left behind a fascinating print oeuvre entirely based on the contrast of black and white and the interlocking of open and closed forms.
• In this work Chillida combines the two printing plates of "Aizatu I" (Van der Koelen 87015) and "Aizatu II" (Van der Koelen 87015) to create a new large-size composition.
PROVENANCE: Galerie Biedermann, Munich.
