Binding stained and bumped.
Second Latin edition of the collected works of the greatest surgeon of the period. With woodcut portrait, more than 300 woodcuts in text and 2 woodcut printer's devices. Contemp. pigskin on raised bands, richly blind- and rollstamped and with 2 panels (allegories). - Slightly browned and partly minor staining, first leaves with small marginal defects and some creases, 1 leaf with tear, front endpaper with ms. entry, pastedown with stamped bookplates. Binding stained and bumped.
