From an edition of 10 known copies. On fine creme wove paper. 33.3 x 40.4 cm (13.1 x 15.9 in). Sheet: 38,2 x 48,5 cm (15 x 19,1 in).

• From 1909 Dodo was Kirchner‘s main model and lover for two years
• The painting "Dodo" from the same year, which shows her with hat, fan and in a yellow dress, is in possession of the Pinakothek der Moderne, Munich
• The outline of the nude and its reflection are masterly implemented
• From the collection of Kirchner‘s patron Botho Graef .
PROVENANCE: Kunstverein Jena, Botho-Graef-Stiftung (1918-1937, gifted from the artist, verso with the stamp, Lugt 4337).
State-owned (1937-1939 as "Degenerate Art“, EK number 13045).
