22 August 07 (aabykk) - "Verve", meaning "fire" or "wit" is the title of the magazine subtitled "Couleur de Picasso" which is to be sold online with other rare books at the Rare Books auction held by art.auctions by Ketterer Kunst on 8 September 2007. Lavishly illustrated, this appealing work boasts a dedication by the artist in his own hand and could be a real bargain at an estimated € 650.

A total of some 160 books, including art monographs, cookery books and classics of modern literature, are to be sold at the auction and, considering how reasonably priced they are - all estimates are below € 1.000 - there is sure to be something to everybody’s taste. Particularly exciting to anticipate are a star atlas with transparent maps of the heavens by Friedrich Braun and HAP Grieshaber’s "Totentanz von Basel" ["Basel Dance of Death"].
