Accompanied by a copy of an old expertise issued by M.I. Binder, no date, who ascribed the painting to Hans Rottenhammer.

Private collection Northern Germany.

Fine work from the Rottenhammer environment, whose style had clearly been influenced by late 16th century Venetian paintings, especially by Tintoretto and Veronese. [CB].
