Fußmann made this watercolor on a journey to Iceland on which he went with the journalist Peter Sager (who was then working for the "Zeitmagazin") and a photographer. The result of this journey is a phot report that was released in the "Zeitmagazin" under the title "Reichlich Wasser für ein Aquarell" the following year. [NB].
